Because many of our parcels require signature upon delivery, we only ship to a physical street address, not a P.O. Box.
WHEN WILL YOUR ORDER BE SHIPPED
Stocked items usually ship same or next day. Items that are indicated as MADE-TO-ORDER on the product page require a few weeks for manufacturing (approximate manufacturing time required for a particular product is indicated in the description on the product page).
DELIVERY TIME STANDARDS
Pre-COVID delivery time standards for Expedited Canada Post parcels were approx. 1-2 business days within the Greater Toronto Area and approx. 2-4 business days for other Ontario destinations. Please be aware that we cannot offer any personal guarantees on delivery times due to possible delays with Canada Post and the chance of unforeseeable events beyond our control.
We do not offer various shipping options or upgrades for products purchased through the International Village BIA Marketplace.

If a package is returned to us because it is not deliverable for any reason (ie: incomplete or incorrect address entered during checkout) or because the recipient refused to accept it for any reason, a 20% restocking and processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount along with all of the shipping charges incurred by us. Non-deliverable CLEARANCE items will not be refunded even partially.
If you end up making a purchase through our independent online shop instead of through the BIA Marketplace site the SHIPPING POLICY listed on our independent site supersedes this one.
Refunds and Exchanges. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may be eligible for a return.
FULL REFUND ON REGULARLY PRICED IN-STOCK ITEMS
In-stock items purchased at a regular price without any discounts applied are eligible for a full refund regardless of reason (subject to meeting all the conditions outlined below). Shipping charges are not refundable nor are any customs duties/fees/taxes incurred by international customers.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE
Items that have been custom made, customized, sized, made to order, or altered in any way at your request cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Such items are considered to be FINAL SALE (unless there is a manufacturing defect in which case they can be returned for exchange only).
DISCOUNTED ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE ONLY
Items purchased at a discount are not returnable for a refund but if their discount is less than 40% off the regular price they can be returned for an exchange. The replacement purchase must be equal or greater in value to the original purchase before the addition of any shipping upgrades or tax. Replacement purchase is not eligible for free shipping - shipping charges will apply.
Items from our SALE section or any clearance priced items (those reduced by at least 40% off their original price) cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Such items are considered to be FINAL SALE (unless there is a manufacturing defect in which case they can be returned for exchange only).
RETURNS OF FINAL SALE ITEMS DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECT
We want you to be confident and comfortable buying from us. This is why we thoroughly inspect each and every item prior to packaging in order to ensure that no defective item gets sent out. If we accept the return of a non-returnable item based on a claim of manufacturing defect and determine that our quality control inspection did in fact fail, we will allow for an exchange.
If we determine that there is no defect or that said defect is the result of damage to or mishandling of the product we will contact you and offer to either resend the item back to you (at your cost) or repair the damage for a fee.
For eligible items our return policy begins on the date you receive your product as indicated by tracking information provided by postal service or courier. To qualify for a return or exchange, you must first contact us (within 7 days of receiving your order) in order to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION CODE (RAC).
HOLIDAY SEASON RETURNS
The period to contact us for a Return Authorization is extended for Holiday gift purchases placed between November 20th and January 5th. For qualifying purchases placed during that period you will have until January 14th to contact us about your return.
OBTAINING YOUR RETURN AUTHORIZATION CODE
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain return authorization code and complete return instructions. If you fail to obtain a RAC before shipping your item back, your returned package will not be received by us; you risk loss of shipment and will incur additional costs. Your return package must be posted within 5 days from the date we send you your RAC. Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition and packaging with tags attached. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Also any customs duties/fees/taxes incurred by international customers as a result of the purchase are non-refundable.
If a package is returned to us because of refusal to accept, or if we were provided with an incorrect shipping address, or if an international package is returned to us because of refusal or failure to pay duties/taxes and/or any other customs fees imposed by the recipient’s country, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount along with all the shipping charges incurred by us. Non-returnable items will not be refunded under any circumstances. Once your return is received by us we will inspect it. If it meets all the criteria outlined above your refund or exchange will be processed.
SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item(s). Always use a shipping service with tracking, insurance and “signature required” option selected. (We cannot be responsible for return merchandise prior to our reception.)
Return address is different from our send address and will be provided by email along with your return authorization code. Please do not return anything without first notifying us by email and receiving a Return Authorization Code and complete return instructions as such packages will be marked as returned to sender at sender's cost.
